She graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Architecture in 1987. She completed her master’s and doctoral studies at the same school. Between 1987 and 2007, she worked as a faculty member at DEÜ Faculty of Architecture. Since 2007, she has been actively involved in architectural works on a full-time basis at the M artı D Mimarlık office, where she is a founding partner. She has published articles on architecture in various professional journals, participated as a speaker in numerous events, and served as a jury member in architectural competitions.
